What We Do
The Barowsky School of Business (BSB) partners with local Bay Area companies to connect students to experiential learning opportunities as well as jobs after graduation. Students work closely with BSB Career Services to prepare them for their careers and life beyond graduation. Our services include individualized career coaching, education on optimization of job-search documents and professional development workshops and events.
Job Placement
BSB Career Services works with graduate business students to coach them in the job search process. BSB has strong employer partnerships and an alumni network. Many local and regional companies recruit our graduate business students in a variety of industries and roles. Our students find jobs locally in Marin County, in the greater Bay Area, as well as around the country.
Internships
Students have the opportunity to work in internships during their graduate programs. Employers post paid part-time internship opportunities for students year round. These experiences help students become highly marketable as they look to advance their careers after graduation. Students intern in a variety of fields including marketing, social media, operations, human resources, accounting, finance and more.
Professional Development
Develop your professional identity and move forward in your career through professional development opportunities. Students receive individual career coaching as well as professional development in a group setting. In addition to our annual BSB Career Fair, you will have the unique opportunity to enhance your skills in the following areas:
- Coaching and support with career exploration
- Writing an impactful resume and a compelling cover letter
- Interviewing confidently
- LinkedIn: building a strong profile
- Networking: in-person and online
