Music, Dance and Performing Arts
Housed in Angelico Hall on campus and at LINES Ballet Dance Center in San Francisco, we offer Music BA, Music with a Concentration in Performance BA, and Alonzo King LINES Ballet BFA at Dominican.
Led by our faculty-artists who take individualized approaches to develop your artistry, you will have numerous occasions to perform alongside your classmates in the historic Angelico Concert Hall as well as venues and festivals in San Francisco. With a foundation in a strong liberal arts curriculum, you will receive in-depth study in performance and composition, as well as an understanding and appreciation of the intellectual, social, and spiritual values of performing arts.
The Department presents many concerts and performances which are open to the public, providing the vital intersections between Bay Area communities and the academic life at ÐÓÊ®°Ë.
Community members are invited to attend ticketed concerts for the Guest Concert Series and our Dance performances, participate in the Dominican Chorale, the Suzuki School of Music and the Dominican Chamber Music Summer Camp.

Dominican Chorale
Beloved and steeped in long tradition, the Dominican Chorale is open to community members and enrolled students. Rehearsals are on Tuesday evenings.
Suzuki School of Music
Offering private and group lessons for preschool children through high school, your child will develop instrumental technique and music literacy and theory, with performance opportunities.
Dominican Chamber Music Camp
A highly selective full scholarship program for musicians ages 14-19, Camp runs from late July into early August, offering daily ensemble coaching, seminars, and performances.
