Sociology

Dominican's Sociology program teaches students how social forces influence societies from the individual to global level. Our program's versatility ensures graduates are successful working in government, non-profit and business sectors.

Do you want to make a difference? By studying sociology you will learn to understand social issues and structures on both a local and global scale. You will examine how social forces influence individuals, families and nations. You will also gain valuable insight into the impact that social factors such as race, ethnicity, gender, age and social class can have on people’s lives and public policy.
