The Bachelor of Arts degree in Kinesiology is recommended for individuals interested in pursuing careers in strength and conditioning, coaching, sport management, fitness leadership, sport media, health/wellness or applying to athletic training programs.
The Bachelor of Science degree in Kinesiology is recommended for individuals interested in careers in physical therapy or other health professions, pursuing an American College of Sports Medicine (ACSM) exercise specialist certification or attending graduate school.
In this program, students will also be completing internships to get hands-on experience in potential fields of interest with on-campus mentors or in local businesses.

Exercise Physiology
This class is an examination of the acute responses and chronic adaptations of the body to the stresses of exercise.
Human Physiology
Experience an integrated study of the functions of the major organs and organ systems of the human body. Emphasizing regulation and integration, this course progresses from cells and tissues to organ systems.
Human Nutrition and Metabolism
This course is a scientific study of human nutrition with concepts from biology, chemistry, biochemistry, anatomy and physiology which describe the nutrients and their functions in the body.
